SPORTS & FITNESS BACKGROUND:
I always played sports since I was a kid. I cheered, played soccer, ran track, played softball, baseball, men's football (yep-you read that right) beach volleyball, yoga, kickball, etc.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES/INTERESTS?

My family. Anything and everything that they do I'm their biggest supporter. Traveling, boating, book club, our adult kickball league, and charity/fundraising. Packing as much life into the days as I can!

HOW DID YOU FIRST GET EXPOSED TO CROSSFIT? Take us back to your first WOD.... what was it, anyhow did it feel?
I don't remember my first WOD. But it was at 6:30 am with my Denny and I loved it. I knew I was hooked. No matter what was going to hurt the next day or two. And it did.

"There's nothing like getting something you never did before; my first double under (I never knew they existed), doing murph with a vest; an unassisted pull up- at 45, a bit chubby and old, I should not be doing things like this. I should be knitting and reading. But cleaning and push pressing? So much more rewarding!
It makes me want to stay active and keep going.

Moments- way too many to list. First competition; I can't believe I did it. What was I thinking? PRd it all! And my family supported me and came to watch my craziness! Love our beach WODS - and mostly being together with our CFA family socially, whether out for fun or supporting a fundraiser... I'm so thankful to have found like minded awesome humans to be surrounded by. "
HOW HAS CROSSFIT IMPACTED YOUR LIFE?
So Much! I can't imagine not having Crossfit in my life. It is so much more than an ass kicking work out with amazing coaches and supportive people keeping you going. It's changed my feeling about my body acceptance, my strength and my meal prepping. I really only wanted to Crossfit to win bar fights but now I can lift small cars and scale fences and walls in the event there is an emergency. I also serve as a body guard for my man-child since he goes to a stupid gym and I'm stronger than him. My cardio has improved significantly as well. I'm well balanced. And a bad ass.
