Ask a friend who does CrossFit why you should try it, you will probably be held captive for an hour while they spit out acronyms about awesome WODs, partner workouts, and why they really need a better Fran time.
All jokes aside, speaking with a Crossfitter about crossfit can be a bit intimidating or possibly confusing. For now, forget all you have heard about CrossFit and let us give you 5 Reasons why you should give it a try.
First, CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program designed to make you fitter across all aspects of fitness. CrossFit combines cardio endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.

No really, it is fun! A lot of people refer to Crossfit as 'recess for adults'. Who doesn't want or NEED daily recess?!

Aside from having fun work out you will also meet some passionate, exciting, and interesting people. It's common to do a Saturday workout and then hang around the gym, plan a night out, or get a team together for the next obstacle race. At our "Box" (crossfit lingo for the gym) you will not find fancy cardio machines with tv's and distractions. In their place you will find barbells, Dumbbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, atlas stones, rowing machines, pull-up bars, gymnastics rings, and hard work!
